Where do I start?
We need to find 2 or 3 chords that sound good together. Here we will look at chords in the key of C major and A minor to give us a place to start.
Progressions
When you play chords one after the other you are playing a chord progression. If you play C / Em / G / C you are playing a I iii V I progression in the key of C
Structure
Most pop songs have a structure like this INTRO, VERSE, BRIDGE, CHORUS, VERSE, BRIDGE, CHORUS, CHORUS. Each section is usually different to each other but you can also write a whole song with just 2 chords too!
